Revenue rose 18 percent to $119.1 million, topping $117.4 million, the average of analysts' estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Per-share profit also rose to 44 cents, topping the 41 cents projected by analysts. The company also raised its sales forecast for 2012 to $473 million to $480 million. FIOS fiber optic connections usually run at 10 megabits per second with options available for up to 50 megabits.
